are a few of my favorite pictures from the EPP production of the
musical Oliver!.
I was fortunate to find that a theatre in Eau Claire, WI had the kids
workhouse costumes available to rent and was saved from building
all of them from scratch. Most of the women's costumes were pulled from
stock and almost all the the men's shirts came from thrift stores.
Most of the women's aprons, petticoats & bloomers were build by
volunteers from the cast. Knowing how hot & muggy it can get on stage in
June, I opted for light weight pj pants for many of the men's costumes.
Sadly, 3 of out 6 performances were rained-out, so the end of the show
was far more bittersweet than usual. If you are costuming Oliver!, I
